Standardized staining methods are employed in the preparation of karyotypes, which helps in revealing the structural features of each chromosome. WebKaryotype, FISH, and CMA reports in this paper are made according to the International System of Human Cytogenetic Nomenclature (ISCN) 2016. Informed consent for genetic studies was obtained from all pregnant women during a pre-test genetic counseling session in which we also collected information about anamnestic and clinically relevant data.
