If DVLA has the wrong address for a vehicle registered to you & that vehicle is caught speeding (or committing another offence) the Notice asking the registered keeper for the vehicle to identify the driver will go to an out of date address. WebAug 16, 2012 · In the end I called DVLA too. The guy recommended picking up a D1 form from the post office. For me I need to fill out the change of address section and also apparently 'section 7' which is the signature box. He also said to write a note to go with the form just saying that the signature has changed, other wise they may over look it.
