WebJun 28, 2024 · The HiFiMan Sundara 2024 are better for neutral sound than the HiFiMan HE-400i. The HiFiMan have better build quality, a more stable fit, and deliver sound more consistently. They also have a more accurate bass response, which some listeners may prefer. However, the HE-400i have a better passive soundstage performance. WebAug 3, 2024 · HE4XX has slightly larger open back cups. M560 is closed or open depending on if you take the side wood plates off. The earpads aren't much different in size compared to the H400i stock pads either. The M560 is heavier though in weight by a bit since there isn't a lick of plastic anywhere that I can see on it.
