It blows the Zeiss Otus 28mm f/1.4 away with respect to point sources (i.e. stars). It has significantly less sagittal astigmatism than the Otus. The Tamron is lighter (420g vs 450g) and is marginally smaller than the Sigma. The Tamron also has internal zoom.
