On March 13, 1907, at a meeting of the Ohio Legislature, all properties of the Starling Medical College and the Ohio Medical University were transferred to a new corporation that established the Starling-Ohio Medical College. WebbThe Willoughby school moved to Columbus in 1846 to expand and improve its clinical facilities by becoming Starling Medical College, the first teaching hospital in the United States. Over the next six decades, the Starling Medical College merged several times. In 1914, all of its assets were donated to The Ohio State University.
